Quote of the Month

"Courage is what preserves our liberty, safety, life, and our homes and parents, our country and children. Courage comprises all things."

First Responders, First Priority

News from this past month has been full of developing innovation in our industry; technology is being applied in new ways in all sectors, including Public Safety. Our industry is at the crest of advancement, with solutions like 700 MHz LTE networks and the soon-to-launch, geographically-targeted PLAN mobile alert system. Milestones such as this are encouraging, and we hope such news builds the resolve of Public Safety officials, to stay their course.

It is more important than ever to put first responders first, and as Jodi Rell, former Governor of Connecticut, said, "At the end of the day, the goals are simple: safety and security." Today's political and technological environment has the ability to sway decisions in many different directions. In our industry, however, it is important to remember that there is only one priority: the safety and security of our people.

We hope you enjoy the second issue of our newsletter, and we appreciate all the feedback and kind words about the first issue. This monthly update is meant to be of service to you, our clients and colleagues who work so hard at keeping first responders first, and keeping politics out of the equation. We welcome any comments and personal experiences of Public Safety officials, especially rebanding stories.
